How to inflate the Pillowtracks?

The Pillowtracks can be inflated by the standard air compressor available in most off-road travelers' vehicle. It can also be inflated with a hand pump. In mobility cases, as trench crossing for example, it can even be inflated by mouth blowing just as you would inflate a balloon.

What is the air pressure in the Pillowtrack?

The Pillowtracks provide mobility and recovery with very low pressure. The inflation pressure is of about 1 PSI, increasing to about 5 PSI when holding a crossing vehicle.

The maximum working pressure allowed is 10 PSI.

This low operation pressure explains how the Pillowtrack can be inflated when placed under a vehicles' wheel using a hand pump.

No. Although the Pillowtrack has the ability to carry and lift the vehicles weight, it is not a jack replacement and should not be used as such. Safety measures should be taken as specified in the users' manual.

When used properly, the Pillowtrack will assist in all common recovery situations: Trench crossing, Step climbing, High center, Wheel articulation, Sand and Mud.
